North Norfolk coast, low tide sunset

Just could not resist, such a classic! The sun started to set, there was a bit of sea mist in the air and everything went red, orange and pink.

The human effect

I could not help but to take this photo, what I found striking was the contrast of the majestic mountain landscape (taken in Poland, Tatra Mountains, from Kasprowy Wierch),and the lonely figure of a man going skiing. To me it almost looks like the mountain is looking over with amusement at the miniscule human who enters the mountain kingdom. At the same time the photo shows the mutual relationship and peaceful coexistence.

Snow pillow

This photo is just a crop and an excellent example how perspective and depth of field can be controlled with a telephoto lens. What I find really striking though is a little snowflake sticking out the snow on the right side of picture. The whole composed of lots of tint parts.

Winter road

A photo that I took in Poland, just liked the entire scenery and composition wrapping gently around the road. By the way, there is a little figure of my dog!

Dynamic landscape

I saw this field of wheat and was overjoyed by the pure, fresh alive
green colour of the plants. The weather was great but it was a bit
windy. I had an idea that I could use a neutral density filter to slow
down the lens a bit so that I could use slower shutter speed, which
rather than freeze the landscape would allow me to capture the wheat
movement, like some sort of strange dance of a millions of beings
swaying gently together.

interesting effect

Application of basic Photoshop filter; motion blur adds interesting dynamic effect to this picture. The bride was walking quite fast and the camera froze the motion. A bit of photoshop magic and the resulting effect is quite striking. Almost a “runaway bride effect” 🙂

Sunflowers are such amazing nature creations. No wonder that a lot of famous artists tried to capture the “sunflower essence” and radiance, which I think combines light quality and intensity available only when sunflowers open up towards the sun and the colour together with the energy levels present in the summer sunshine.
